Box Score NEW LONDON, Conn. – With a pair of third period goals, the 8th ranked Camels of Connecticut College handed the 10th ranked Beacons a 3-1 non-conference loss Saturday evening at Dayton Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a power-play goal by Kaleigh Beauregard (Gaylord, Mich.) tied the score at 1-1 in the second period, the host Camels retook the lead early in the third, when the capitalized on a loose puck in the Beacons crease. Connecticut College would seal the victory at the midway point of the third, on a shorthanded goal.
Beauregard's goal in the second period marked her fifth of the season, with Julia Nolan (Duxbury, Mass.) assisting on the play. Connecticut College earned their first goal of the contest with four minutes remaining in the first period on an unassisted tally by Stephanie Izzi.
Rachel Myette (Duxbury, Mass.) had a very busy night between the pipes as the junior recorded a career-high 47 stops to keep the Beacons in the contest. Katherine Chester totaled 11 saves to improve to 4-1-0 on the year.
On the power-play, UMass Boston finished 1-for-5, while the Camels were held scoreless on their four power play attempts.
