Box Score DARTMOUTH, Mass. – With a pair of goals by Abby Silva the Corsairs and another by Talia D'Ambruoso the Corsairs of UMass Dartmouth handed women's soccer a tough 3-0 Little East Conference loss Saturday afternoon at Cressy Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Silva's team leading performance started in the first minute of Saturday's contest, as she tapped home the first goal of the day off of a pass from Courtney Hewitt. The Beacons would keep the Corsairs off the scoreboard for the remainder of the first half, but would only combine for five total shots through the first 45 minutes.
After the break, Silva and D'Ambruoso would secure the win in the span of a minute as the each registered a goal in the 64th and 65th minutes. Assisting on Silva's second goal was Stearns who crossed the ball into the box, where it found Silva's foot for her second goal of the day. D'Ambruoso netted her goal on a free-kick that beat Beacons goalkeeper Jessie Tenaglia (Braintree, Mass.) to the top left corner.
Despite the three goals allowed, Tenaglia played extremely well, as she recorded a career-high 18 saves. Her Dartmouth counterpart, Madison Boucher finished the win with three stops.
Jaclyn O'Grady (Somers, Conn.) recorded four of the Beacons nine shots, two of which ended up on goal.
