HOW IT HAPPENED

Lindo carried the Warriors to their fourth straight conference win, as the forward finished with a game-high 16 points and 14 rebounds.  Trachone Preston also finished in double figures with his 14 points, while Kevin Leumene dropped in 12.

UMass Boston looking to pull out the upset, would once again get off to a slow start as the Warriors jumped out to a 22 point (24-2) by the 12:44 mark of the first half.  The Beacons would manage to close the deficit to eight with just under five minutes to play thanks to a 12-2 run.

Unfortunately, the Beacons would be held to just one more field goal over the final 2:50 as, the Warriors regained their lead and went into the halftime break leading 39-22.
