BOSTON, Mass. – Freshman Brianna Steele (Rutland, Mass.) had another standout performance to lead the women's cross country team at the 50th Annual Codfish Bowl Saturday afternoon at Franklin Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Steele crossed the finish line in her second meet with a time of 21:21 to finish in 37th place to lead all Beacons runners. Patriciah Mulinge (Brockton, Mass.) recorded the Beacons second fastest time as the junior registered a time of 21:56 (54th). From there Rebecca Caley (Quincy, Mass.) was the third Beacons to trip the sensor with a time of 24:50. Patience Gbedema (Boston, Mass.) closed out the top-4 for the Beacons with her time of 25:05. Maggie Hale (Albuquerque, N.M.) and Caroline Mullen (Marshfield, Mass.) recorded times of 27:54 and 28:31 respectively.
The Beacons will compete at the Westfield State University James Earley Invite on October 6.
