AMHERST, Mass. – Led by Jamie Dailey's match-high 12 kills the regionally-ranked Mammoths of Amherst College handed volleyball a 3-0 non-conference loss Friday evening in a non-conference match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Currently ranked eighth on the most recent New England Women's Volleyball Association (NEWVA) poll, the Mammoths earned a 25-19 win the first set. They then jumped out to a 2-0 lead following a 25-11 win in the second set. In the final set, Amherst took control early and never looked back as they earned a 25-15 win to earn their 3rd straight win.
Dailey led all players with her .370 hitting percentage scoring the 12 kills on 27 attempts. Cameron Hendricks was the only other player to finish in double-figures as she put down 10 kills for a .240 hitting percentage.
For the Beacons, Marcelle Tiscareno (El Paso, Texas) led the team with six kills and a .250 hitting percentage. Sarah Doyle (Glendale, Calif.) dropped down five kills, and registered one block assist. Mallory Reed (Alpharetta, Ga.) connected for three kills and two block assists.
