Jonathas Earns Fourth Straight USTFCCCA National Track Athlete of the Week Award

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Sophomore All-American Wadeline Jonathas (Gonaives, Haiti) has been named the USTFCCCA Division III Track Athlete of the Week for the fourth consecutive week.

The only athlete in the country to earn the national weekly award four-times this season at any level, Jonathas continues to make history every week she steps onto a track.

At Saturday's NEICAAA Indoor Regional championship, Jonathas established a new all-time mark in the 60-meter dash.  She posted a time of 7.43 seconds, which broke the original record of 7.49 set two-years ago.

To-date Jonathas now owns the fastest times in Division III in the indoor 60- and 400-meter dashes, as well as in the 200- and 400-meter outdoor dashes.  Prior to her record setting performance in the 60, Jonathas set a new program and NEICAAA meet record in the long jump with a final distance of 20-07.25 feet.
