CENTERVILLE, Mass.—The accolades keep on coming for UMass Boston women's soccer junior forward Krista Ledin (Bridgewater, Mass.), as Ledin was named the Corvias ECAC New England Division III Women's Soccer Player of the Week Wednesday morning.
The honor marks the third of the week for Ledin, who was previously named the Disney Soccer/NSCAA Division III National Player of the Week, along with earning her third Little East Conference Player of the Week Award.
Ledin recored all three game-winning goals and scored 10 total markers to lead UMass Boston to a 3-0 week.
The junior forward from Bridgewater, Mass. reset the Beacons' program-marks for goals (five) and points (10) by scoring all five goals in a 5-0 win over Salve Regina University on Monday October 15.
She added three more goals last Wednesday, to help the Beacons to a 5-1 victory over Western New England University.
Ledin capped off the week with a two-goal effort against regionally-ranked Keene State College to help the Beacons earn their first ever road win against the Owls. She recorded the game-winning goal with three minutes and seven seconds remaining to help UMass Boston take control of first place in the Little East Conference.
