Quentin Nichols enters his fifth year as the nutritionist for the men’s ice hockey team at UMass Boston.
Quentin was part of the Beacons coaching staff in 2017-18 that coached the first National Player of the Year in program history. Senior captain Colin Larkin earned both the Sid Watson Award and Joe Concannon Award as the National and Regional Player of the Year at the Division III level.
During the 2015-16 season, Quentin was part of a men’s hockey coaching staff that helped UMass Boston to their first New England Hockey Conference Regular Season and Conference Tournament Titles since 1982, and helped the Beacons to their first-ever NCAA Frozen Four.
In his role, he is responsible for all aspects involved in the development, implementation and supervision of the nutrition program for the Beacons men's ice hockey team.
Quentin is a Health Coach for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Quentin is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Health Sciences. He has a graduate degree in Nutrition from Northeastern University and a bachelors in Exercise Science from San Diego State University.
