Eric Wilder enters his first season as an assistant coach with the men’s basketball program.
A graduate of UMass Boston, Wilder is the newest member of Coach Harris’ staff in 2018-19. Wilder comes to UMB after serving as a volunteer assistant coach with Division II Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts.
Wilder played his high school ball in the Hockomock League for Sharon High School, and has strong Philadelphia ties; having attended Temple University and serving as the basketball operations assistant with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Wilder has served as a counselor and coach at several camps under the direction of the Boston Celtics, Jim Calhoun, Ed Cooley, Boston College and Hoop Mountain. He is also the head coach of the under-16 Rise Above Basketball grassroots program.
Currently working in the SEI department at the Condon School of South Boston, Wilder graduated from UMass Boston with a bachelor’s in leadership & organizational change.
