One of the most respected names in the history of Boston State College baseball, Jacobs receives a place in the Hall of Fame in October posthumously. A tremendous student-athlete, Jacobs exemplified what it meant to be a Warrior. A two-time captain, Jacobs was a staple in the Warriors outfield. During his illustrious career, he led the Warriors to tremendous success both in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) and in the New England Teachers College Conference (NETCC). In his final season at Boston State, Jacobs collected All-Conference accolades in both conferences. He would continue his unbelievable playing career as a member of the Boston Park League, which at the time was the top amateur baseball league in the country.
