Greg Visinho will rejoin the Beacons' staff for his fourth season. Visinho's primary duties with the Beacons will include assisting with team and individual coaching on the field, video editing responsibilities and serving as the general recruiting coordinator. 

Since joining the staff he has played a major part in helping head coach Amy Zombeck lead the Beacons to three of its most successful seasons in program history, as well as helping numerous players earn All-Conference and All-Region accolades.

Visinho has a wealth of experience coaching women's soccer with stints at various levels.

Prior to his arrival at UMass Boston, he was the Head Girls Soccer Coach at Silver Lake Regional High School, where he led the Lakers to the first and only Patriot League title in school history in 2006.

Greg is also going into his sixth year with the Crusaders United Soccer Club, where he serves as the clubs Academy Director as well as coach of the U14 and U15 Girls Teams

In 2010 Visinho captured a Presidents Cup Region 1 Championship for the club with his U15 team. This marked the first girls regional championship of any kind in the clubs 16 year history.

Visinho's coaching experience extends to the professional ranks as well.  From 2005-07 he was a member of the Bay State Select franchise's staff of the Women's Professional Soccer League (WPSL). Here he mentored some of the best female players in the world including current WPS stars Kia McNiel, Niki Cross and former Brazilian National Team star Daniella.

He has also coached for several premier clubs in Massachusetts over the last eleven years including the Taunton Eagles, Bay State Clippers and South Shore Select. In addition he serves as a Camp Director for several camps throughout the Bay State. 

Visinho has earned his USSF F and E badges, NFHS Fundamentals of coaching certificate, NSCAA Goalkeeping Diploma and his NSCAA National and Advanced National Diploma (with Distinction).
