KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior Jaclyn O'Grady (Somers, Conn.) continued to pick-up weekly awards as the Connecticut native became just the second player in program history to be named the United Soccer Coaches Division III National Player of the Week.
Currently having the best year of her college career, O'Grady has earned multiple Little East Conference weekly accolades in 2018. The only other player to earn National Player of the Week honors, was all-time great Krista Ledin '13.
Last week, O'Grady registered a combined nine points including a pair of game-winning scores. The senior started the week off with a pair of goals in the 4-2 win over Framingham State University. She then added two assists in the 5-0 blanking of Salem State University. Last Saturday, O'Grady had a career moment as she scored the overtime game-winner against Rhode Island College. She also earned an assist in the win to cap-off a huge week for the senior.
