Women's Soccer Announces Its 2012 Schedule

BOSTON, Mass. – The UMass Boston women's soccer team announced its 2012 schedule this morning.  This fall the Beacons will once again face some of the top competition in New England as they look to make their fifth straight trip to the postseason under head coach Amy Zombeck.

The Beacons will begin their season at home on Saturday, September 1 when they host non-conference opponent Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) at 1 p.m.  Their first road game will take place seven days later on the 8th when they travel to the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.

UMass opens up conference play on Saturday, September 15 when they host Keene State College at 1 p.m. on the Clark Athletic Center Field.  Their first road conference game will take place on the 22nd when they travel to Providence, Rhode Island to face the Anchorwomen of Rhode Island College.

This season the Beacons will face two new opponents in the University of New England and Colby-Sawyer College (October 3).
