NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track and Field Cross Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the 2018 outdoor season All-Region honorees with five members of the men's track and field team earning recognition.

Earning a pair of All-Region honors was senior Dom Nda (Pittsfield, Mass.) in the 4x100-meter relay and in the 100-meter dash.  Nda will end his standout college career this weekend at the NCAA Outdoor National Championship as a six-time honoree (2 indoor, 4 outdoor).

Nda will travel to Wisconsin ranked eighth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.57 seconds, which he recorded at the NCAA Division III New England Championship meet.

Garth Miriyoga (Johannesburg, South Africa), Stefan Powell (Hyde Park, Mass.), and Bless Amedoadzi (Boston, Mass.) all earned their second All-Region honors in the 4x1.  For the 4x100-meter relay team, they will once again be in the hunt for the program's first-ever top-8 finish at the outdoor national championship.  At the MIT Final Qualifier meet, the four sprinters posted a time of 41.15 seconds to skyrocket into fifth place in the country.

Little East Conference Rookie Field Athlete of the Year, Virgil Harrell III earned his first All-Region honor in the long jump.  For Harrell, his freshman season was an impressive one as he emerged as the top long and triple jumper in New England.  The program record holder in both events, Harrell recorded an impressive distance of 22-09.75 feet in the long jump, while in the triple jump he set a new mark with a jump of 46-00.75 feet.
