Men’s Soccer Welcomes Six Transfers for 2014 Campaign

BOSTON, Mass. – Head men's soccer coach Jake Beverlin is pleased to welcome six new transfer players that will join the 2014 roster.  Four of the new players come to UMass Boston from Bunker Hill Community College, while one joins the Beacons roster from Massasoit Community College, and the other from San Diego City College (Calif.).

"We are happy to announce our six transfers that we will welcome this fall.  All of them will enhance our team going forward and we expect a large contribution out of each player.  Having previously coached four of them, and having a good relationship over time with the other two this should make the transition here a smooth one as they know my expectations.  Individually there is a ton of pace, technical ability, and goal scorers.  Coupled with an experienced goalkeeper, I know this will add a much needed competition at that spot and we look forward to seeing which one rises."
