Nolan Redler Recognized as NEHC Player of the Week

MARSHFIELD, Mass.—After recording a pair of game-winning goals and a team-high four points over the weekend, UMass Boston men's hockey junior Nolan Redler (Winchester, Mass.) was named the New England Hockey Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon. 

Redler scored a team-high three goals and added an assist, to help #14/17 UMass Boston go 2-0 in their opening weekend of conference play.

In Friday night's win over the University of Southern Maine, Redler scored twice, including recording the game-winning goal, and finished +3 overall in a 6-2 win. 

He tacked on a goal and an assist in the third period of Saturday's 4-1 win over New England College. 

For the season, Redler is tied the for the league-lead with five goals and seven points and paces the NEHC with two game-winning goals. 

#14/17 UMass Boston will host #8/10 Norwich University on Friday night at 7 p.m., before taking on Castleton University on Saturday at 4 p.m.
