MARSHFIELD, Mass.—For the second time in three weeks, UMass Boston men's hockey senior captain Colin Larkin (Waterford, Mich.) was named the New England Hockey Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Larkin recorded a team-high four points in a pair of wins, to earn his second Player of the Week honors of the season and third of his career.
He netted two goals and added two assists in the Beacons' 5-4 road win over New England College on Saturday.
With the four points, Larkin moved into a tie for first on the Beacons with his 11 points (six goals and five assists). Larkin also tied Dave Friday ('85) and Eric Tufman ('11) for 10th place in program history with his 113 career points.
#15/16 UMass Boston will host #6/8 Hobart College on Friday night at 7 p.m. in the first-ever conference meeting between the two sides. The Beacons will also host Skidmore College on Saturday at 4 p.m.
