CENTERVILLE, Mass.—For the first time in his career, UMass Boston men's hockey captain Travis Daniel (North Brunswick, N.J.) has been named the ECAC East Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday evening.
Daniel helped lead UMass Boston to a 2-0 week in ECAC East play, by recording a team-high five points (one goal and four assists) over the weekend.
