Men's Hockey Finishes Season Ranked 14th In National Polls

BOSTON, Mass.—UMass Boston men's hockey concluded their best season in over three decades by finishing the season 14th in both the National Poll and Top 15.

The 14th place finish is the best in program-history and continues a record nine-week run in the Top 15.

Peter Belisle's squad finished the season 19-6-2 and reached as high as number nine in the poll and 11th in the poll.

The Beacons finished in second in the ECAC East, their highest finish in over two decades, and reached the semifinals of the conference tournament before being bounced by #8/11 Babson College.

Belisle's squad returns four of their six all-conference players including Second Team forward Travis Daniel (North Brunswick, N.J.) and national Rookie of the Year runner-up Peter MacIntyre (Norfolk, Mass.).

In addition to the two-standout forwards, UMass Boston also returns ECAC East All-Rookie Team members Frankie DeAugustine (Pittsburgh, Pa.), Kit Sitterley (Mooresville, N.C.) and the single-season program-record holder for wins Zach Andrews (Coral Springs, Fla.).
