2011-12 Continued his strong career, making his mark as one of the top offensive defenseman in the ECAC East … Appeared in 25 of 26 contests … Finished sixth amongst all ECAC East defenseman with 18 points on seven goals and 11 assists … Registered 10 power play points, including three goals to finish amongst the top 20 skaters in the conference … Added a shorthanded goal and a game-winning tally … Ended the season second amongst all Beacon skaters with a +15 +/- rating … Attempted the third most shots amongst all UMass players with 59 … Led the Beacons with 16 penalties for 56 penalty minutes … Scored two goals apiece in two separate contests against Southern Maine on December 2 and February 11 … Registered an assist on the game-winning goal in UMass’ 2-1 upset win over number one Norwich … Finished with a season-high three points (one goal and two assists) January 6 in a 9-0 win in the Semifinals of the Codfish Bowl … Scored the Beacons’ lone goal in the Codfish Bowl Championship Game in a 2-1 loss to Tufts on January 7.
