HOW IT HAPPENED
That would be the lone event of the day that Jimmy Cannon would run as would be the case for his brother, freshman Rob Cannon, who placed fifth in the event with a time of 16:31.49.

Freshman Frank Boua had a top three finish for the Beacons as well, placing third in the Men's 400 Meter Hurdles, just over a second behind top finishing junior Samuel Hennedy from Keene State and senior Chase Gagnon from Assumption.

Other notable finishes included the Men's 4x100 Relay team which placed third in a time of 45.11 seconds, an event which all four participating teams resided in the LEC. Boua alongside fellow freshmen Melvin Wiltshire, Frank Boua, Austin Hennebury, and Omosigho Asuen all ran for the Beacons in the event.
