Sixteen UMass Boston Student-Athletes Earn LEC All-Academic Honors

PAWTUCKET, R.I.—Sixteen UMass Boston Spring student-athletes were named to the Little East Conference Spring All-Academic Team, the league office announced Thursday afternoon. 

Six different Beacons teams had athletes honored, led by the baseball team's six honorees. The softball team placed four athletes on the All-Academic Team, while the men's track & field team had three honorees. 

To be named the LEC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be at least in sophomore standing both academically and athletically, have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the previous semester, and have been at their current institution for at least one full academic year.

Baseball
